Our treatments range from simple waxing techniques to advanced colon hydro-therapy.

Solace Spa is Birmingham’s leading stockist of Dermalogica products. We work closely with Dermalogica to bring you the latest products and our highly trained therapists will prescribe the most effective products for your skin. We offer a no obligation free 15 minute ‘Dermalogica Skin Mapping’ session using our Skin Bar.

We believe our customers benefit from regular treatments so at Solace Spa we conduct monthly price checks with other beauty spas to ensure our clients get the most competitive treatment price. At Solace Spa rest assured you will get the most highly qualified therapists in the UK.

Appointments

Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and other guests are not inconvenienced. If you are a new client then please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your appointment to allow time for you to complete our Guest Pre-Treatment Form and to relax prior to your service.

Health Considerations
We request that you disclose any medical conditions and/or medications as some services may be contraindicated. Please advise our professional staff of any allergies or sensitivities or if you are pregnant. We recommend that you do not consume alcohol at least 12 hours prior to your reservation.

Modesty
You will be asked to undress to your comfort level for body treatments. Your therapist will keep your body draped with sheets during the treatment and only expose the areas being worked on. Underwear may be kept on, or swimsuits may be worn if that is your comfort level. For gentlemen, please shave two hours prior to your facial treatments.

Treatment
Give your therapist feedback as to your comfort and special trouble areas. We are here to make this the most relaxing and beneficial treatment for you, so tell us what your needs are. Should you prefer to enjoy the treatment in silence, that is your choice as well. It’s your treatment!

Finally, so you may fully enjoy your spa experience, and as a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you turn off your mobile.

Cancellations 
& Bookings Policy
We require a £20.00 deposit for treatments lastings one hour or longer. A 50pc deposit is required for Colon Hydrotherapy bookings and group bookings we ask for full payment for all group bookings. Should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we request a minimum of 24-hours notice for any single service. A 48-hour notice is required for any multiple service or spa package cancellation. Half the value of your service will be charged on any late cancellations or no-show appointments. This is as a courtesy to the staff member, and so we may possibly accommodate the needs of other clients. However, we understand that emergency situations do arise and we will accommodate you in any way we can.

Privacy
Solace Spa respects your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us including and similar to your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals. The information we collect is used to send you, the subscriber information you have requested. It could also be used to notify you about updates to our web site, or to contact you for marketing purposes. If you supply us with your postal address or email address online you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address.

Pricing
Solace Spa reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on any treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Amex, cash and cheque.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in our service prices. Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients and can be taken by cash.

Age Requirement
We are not able to accept appointments for children under the age of 16 years.

Referrals
We are confident that you will enjoy your experience at Solace Spa and we want you to share your experience with your friends and family. For this reason, we are delighted to offer referral incentives to our valued clients. For every referral that becomes an appointment we offer a £10 Gift Voucher to the referee as a thank you. This voucher may only be used against full priced treatments.

Personal Articles
We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal articles. We recommend that you leave your valuables at home. However, if you do bring them to the Spa, please keep all valuables with you during your appointments.
